Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Trenziq application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and The VoBot Developers ("we," "us," or "our"), the developers of Trenziq.

2. Description of Service

Trenziq is an Android application that:

• Optionally reads SMS messages on your device to automatically identify financial transactions (SMS permission is not required)
• Allows you to manually log incomes and expenses without any permissions
• Lets you create fully custom income and expense categories
• Processes and categorizes financial data locally on your device
• Provides budgeting, analytics, and balance tracking features
• Stores all processed data locally in an encrypted database on your device
• Optionally backs up your encrypted data to Google Drive (user-initiated)

The App is provided free of charge, with no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertisements.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Trenziq. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

4. License to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on Android devices you own or control
• Use the App for your personal, non-commercial financial management purposes

This license does not include the right to:

• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App (except as permitted by law)
• Sublicense, sell, or transfer the App or your license rights
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the App

5. Permitted & Prohibited Use

Permitted Use

You may use Trenziq to:

• Track and categorize your personal financial transactions
• Set and monitor personal budgets and financial goals
• Analyze your personal spending patterns and trends
• Create encrypted backups of your personal financial data

Prohibited Use

You may not use Trenziq to:

• Access or process SMS messages belonging to others without their explicit consent
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or misuse data processed by the App
• Use the App for commercial data aggregation or financial intelligence services

6. SMS Access & Data Processing

By granting Trenziq permission to read SMS messages, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are the owner or authorized user of the device and the SMS messages being processed
• All SMS processing occurs locally on your device
• You are responsible for securing your device to prevent unauthorized access to the App and your data
• Revoking SMS permissions will disable the App's core functionality but will not delete previously stored data

We do not transmit your SMS content or extracted financial data to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. No Financial Advice

Trenziq is a personal financial tracking and organization tool. It is not a financial advisor, investment advisor, tax advisor, or any form of licensed financial service.

Nothing in the App constitutes:

• Financial, investment, or tax advice
• A recommendation to buy or sell any asset
• A guarantee of financial outcomes
• Professional financial planning services

Always consult a qualified financial professional before making significant financial decisions. Do not rely on Trenziq as your sole source of financial information.

8. Accuracy of Information

Trenziq extracts financial information from SMS messages using automated parsing. While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that:

• SMS parsing may not be 100% accurate for all bank formats or message variations
• Transaction amounts, balances, and categories may occasionally be incorrectly extracted or assigned
• The App's balance reconciliation may not reflect all account activity (e.g., transactions not communicated via SMS)
• You should verify important financial information directly with your bank or financial institution

We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on inaccurate information displayed by the App.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Trenziq, including but not limited to the App's code, design, logo, branding, and documentation, are owned by The VoBot Developers or its licensors.

Your financial data that you process through Trenziq remains yours. We claim no ownership over your personal financial information.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• WARRANTIES THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF FINANCIAL DATA

We do not warrant that the App will correctly parse all SMS formats from all financial institutions, or that all transactions will be detected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE VOBOT DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Financial losses resulting from reliance on inaccurate data displayed by the App
• Loss of data due to device failure, theft, or App malfunction
• Unauthorized access to your device or App data

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months prior to the claim. Since the App is free, this amount is zero (₹0).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The VoBot Developers, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the App in an unauthorized manner
• Your violation of any third party's rights, including privacy rights
• Processing SMS messages belonging to others without authorization

13. Termination

These Terms remain in effect as long as you use the App. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

We reserve the right to discontinue the App or restrict access to it at any time, for any reason, without notice. If the App is discontinued, your locally stored data will remain on your device and will not be affected.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through:

• An update to the "Last updated" date on this page
• A notification within the App for significant changes

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please uninstall the App.
